Today I will share with you the second part of the 2 Things KILLING Your Business and how you can use My Online Business Empire to solve these things.

Yesterday, I shared with you the 2 reasons why most can’t make an online business work, and we looked at reason number 1:

1.) They are spending their time on the wrong things.

2.) They are constantly changing directions (so they never get traction).

Today, I want to talk to you about reason number 2.

Here’s the thing: every single day… you’re getting emails from different gurus, telling you to buy more stuff.

And I’ll admit… I even do the same thing from time to time, except my stuff actually works ; )

The problem is, you only have so many hours in a day.

You only have so much attention you can give to any one thing.

So if you’re buying every new launch that comes out, it means you’re adding another task to your long list of ‘to-dos.’

And I bet you have a very long list indeed.

So every time you take something additional on, your current projects suffer.

And when you’re juggling 25 projects at one time, it’s VERY hard to do any one of them properly.

You end up with a lot of loose ends…

So, that traffic course you bought last month never gets implemented…

That blog you started three months ago, has not been updated in weeks…

And your commitment to write 3 articles a day, has long been forgotten…

At least this is what it was like for me in the beginning.

I honestly believe that focusing on just ONE project at a time, and sticking with it until it’s 100% completed, is one of the biggest secrets to doing well online.

It truly is.

Now, if you’re guilty of taking on too much, here’s what I want you to do:

Pick one area of your business you want to work on.

Eg. you may want to learn how to get more leads using Facebook PPC or Microsoft/Yahoo PPC.

And focus on it, for at least 2 hours a day, until you have mastered it. Pick a goal you’d like to achieve, such as getting to 50+ leads a day.

And while you’re doing this, ignore all those ‘shiny objects,’ where marketers are telling you they’ve discovered ‘the next great thing.’

It’s just noise.

In fact… these days, I hardly ever read emails from gurus. I keep an eye on what they’re doing, but, most of the time I’m busy working on my own business.

That’s what you need to do: focus on just one thing at a time.
